This position is a one year maternity leave coverage with the possibility of permanence at the end of the contract.
JOB PURPOSE AND SUMMARY:
Working within the administrative team, the Information Manager will be solely responsible to promote efficiency in the area of data collection and information management for the agency. The Information Manager will provide valuable statistical analysis to funders, and the Executive Director to enhance and promote agency accountability, credibility, and impact.
HOURS: Full-time, 37.5 hours
SALARY: $20-24/hr (depending on experience and qualifications)
SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday (9:00-5:00), evenings, early mornings, and weekends as required
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Information Management
- Provide support to RaY staff team in the area of information management, working with the Program Director
- Ensure efficient and effective processes for data collection and reporting
- Monitoring & Evaluation
- Work with RaY staff and Program Director to ensure quality control in all areas of program, including program execution, reporting, data collection, statistical record keeping, policy practice and protocol
- Lead program evaluation and program impact measurement processes
- Provide evidence-based recommendations related to program and service delivery models
- Fund Development
- In collaboration with the Executive Director, develop/update funding plan in accordance to agency needs and strategic development
- Research foundation, corporate, and government funding sources
- Prepare grant applications, in collaboration with program staff, and the Finance Officer
- Report to the Executive Director regularly on fund development progress
- Reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting to all funders and partners on monthly, quarterly, annual basis
- With the Program Director, liaise with project officers where necessary to determine the most efficient way of complying to contract requirements
- Ensure compliance with contracts and service purchase agreements
- Communications
- Work with the Communications Assistant to develop key messaging, and emergent information related to RaY’s target population
- Prepare high quality agency information materials for multiple audiences
- Assist the administrative team with event planning, when needed

- Advanced computer skills including MS Office;
- Proficiency in Excel and all Google applications is required;
Education and Experience:
- Post-secondary education in a business or social service related field (Masters degree is preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to work and lead within a team setting
- Experience with project management, program planning, and program evaluation
- A strong level of understanding of the issues in the following subject areas:
- Homeless youth and surrounding issues;
- Harm reduction;
- Population health;
- Community development and economic development;
- Program development
- An understanding and analysis of agency finance
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Physical demands: sitting, walking, some lifting required.
- Work environment: an environment of high-stress and fast paced crisis intervention. Will be largely in the office.
