Are you an Administrative Professional who is community-minded and wanting to make a difference? The Coordinator, Philanthropy will support all members of the Donor Relations & Resource Development team, including its volunteers, to implement divisional and departmental plans. Reporting to the Administrative Services Manager and a member of the bargaining unit Unifor Local 191, this role also initiates actions and research in support of resource development activities, and maintains accurate and complete data files and records.
Specifically, this role will:
- Perform data mining, spreadsheet analysis, general word processing, and administrative duties
- Provide primary administrative support to committees and sub-committees
- Coordinate meetings including invitations, facilities, and food arrangements
- Record minutes of meetings and monitor follow through on action items
- Maintain accurate and complete data files and records
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of reports and materials, including large mailings
- Prepare routine correspondence and handle telephone enquiries by providing accurate and sensitive responses
- Provide any other administrative support, including support to the Campaign team, as required

You also possess the following qualifications or an equivalent combination of education and related experience:
- A business certificate and two years’ related administrative experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Extensive Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) system, word processing, and spreadsheet experience (including intermediate to advanced Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills)
- Exceptional organizational skills, with particular attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Respectful of confidentiality
- Ability to learn and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, changing environment and manage several tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, to take initiative and demonstrate imagination and resourcefulness
