What can I expect to do in this role?
You will:
- participate in fiscal policy support and economic analysis
- research, analyze and coordinate information, and advise on complex economic, fiscal and related policy issues
- provide advice on the business planning, estimates and budget process
- draft documents, and coordinate projects and products such as briefing book materials and tracking reports

- you have demonstrated knowledge of economic and financial theories, principles and practices
- you have an understanding of public policy development and decision-making
- you have an awareness of the government's fiscal and expenditure structure and programs

- you can prepare and present various papers, presentations, briefing materials and correspondence
- you have demonstrated negotiation and interpersonal skills
- you can build effective working relationships and participate in projects as part of a team
Analytical, Problem-Solving, Research and Computer Skills
- you have demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, research and organizational skills
- you are able to research, coordinate and provide input/advice on options on a range of complex economic and fiscal issues
- you are proficient with database applications and computer software including word processing, spreadsheets and graphics
Salary Range: $60,490 - $84,570 per year
