Are you an Administrative Professional who is community-minded and wanting to make a difference?

The Coordinator supports all members of the Donor Relations & Resource Development team, including its volunteers, to implement divisional and departmental plans.

This role also initiates actions and research in support of resource development activities, and maintains accurate and complete data files and records. Specifically, this role:

  • Provide primary administrative support to committees and sub-committees as assigned, including:
    • Scheduling meetings
    • Attending meetings as required to record minutes and/or to assist with technology
    • Liaising with Partnership Development Managers and/or Individual Philanthropy Managers and other staff to collect key information and create appropriate reports for distribution
    • Identifying action items established at meetings
    • Follow-through on action items as assigned
  • Process donations
  • Support the management and delivery of the online donation system for a select group of accounts
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of reports and materials, including large mailings
  • Prepare non-routine correspondence and handling telephone enquiries by providing accurate and sensitive responses
  • Conduct individual/ corporate research to support divisional and departmental priorities
  • Undertake special projects as required

You are a detail-oriented, team player who is dedicated to making Winnipeg a better place to live. You also possess the following qualifications or an equivalent combination of education and related experience:

  • A business certificate and two years’ related experience or some equivalent combination
  • Business application software experience to include extensive Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) system experience and intermediate to advanced Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with particular attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Respectful of confidentiality
  • Ability to learn and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, changing environment and manage several tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, to take initiative and demonstrate imagination and resourcefulness
