Use your design skills to make a real difference in our community!

A key member of a marketing and communications team, this role delivers a wide range of marketing materials and supports including motion graphics; print materials; environmental graphics; presentations; web, social media & email marketing visuals including video and animations; and supporting design for experiential marketing events. Specifically, the Graphic Designer will:

  • Work with the Project Traffic Manager and Creative Services Manager to determine internal project requirements & resources including: Creative designEnsuring messaging and design is on brand
  • Deliver current, technically accomplished, high-quality design with an eye for powerful typography in a deadline-intensive environment
  • Collaborate with team members to conceptualize creative solutions for events, communications, and advertising
  • Coordinate, where applicable, design and/or production via external consultants or service providers

You’re a formally trained professional who takes initiative and demonstrates imagination and resourcefulness. A team player with excellent time management skills, and you will also possess:

  • A Graphic Design degree/diploma from a recognized design school and at least three to five years design experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Expert use of Adobe Creative Cloud; working knowledge of Microsoft Office; facility with Wordpress
  • Online portfolio or social media account with design samples
  • Comfort styling emails and websites with CSS Fluency in the Mac OS environment is essential, facility in the Windows/PC environment is an asset
  • Preference will be given to candidates who possess experiences such as: Digital Media designSocial MediaVideography including video editing, motion graphics and animation
  • Strong project management skills with an ability to organize and implement multiple projects
