The Community Social Planning Council is an independent, non-partisan, and knowledgeable voice on social issues in BC’s capital region. Through its work, the Council contributes to strengthening local research and evaluation capacity, and to building community-based research infrastructure. By supporting evidence-based policy and program development, practicing inclusive community engagement processes, and promoting social planning practices, the Council supports the creation of sustainable communities.
