About Canadian Alternative Investment Foundation
Who are We - CAIF (Canadian Alternative Investment Foundation) is a registered charity mandated to provide low cost flexible financing to registered charities. Building on the thirty plus years of experience of its predecessor, the Canadian Alternative Investment Cooperative, CAIF manages assets in excess of $4,000,000 dollars.
Exciting new initiative - CAIF is in the process of piloting a new initiative, which will offer operating lines of credit to smaller front-line charities in collaboration with Vancity Community Investment Bank. The initiative will assist small charities to effectively access and use credit to improve their operations and better manage their resources. The $500,000 2 year pilot will test run what we expect to become a more ambitious nation-wide initiative.
