Buy Social Canada is a social enterprise with a mission to advance and grow social procurement. We believe that the purchasing of goods and services, and major development and construction projects are much more than an economic transaction, much more than the construction of a physical structure, they are a means to build community capital, the foundation of a healthy community, contributing to a local community social and economic goals.
We are excited to be launching a new brand and website at the end of April at our annual virtual conference. Our team is fast paced, as nationally interest in social procurement is sky rocketing! We need someone with creative ideas to engage people on a topic with a dry name but so much potential to create vibrant, inclusive communities. We are passionate about our work and this new team member will be too.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create high quality and engaging online content including blogs, videos and newsletters
- Design and implement marketing campaigns across channels (website, email marketing, social media)
- Manage and develop Buy Social Canada’s online presence including social media channels, websites and newsletter
- Aid in the management of our CRM and website
- Graphic design of documents and communications materials
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience creating and managing marketing campaigns
- Experience writing and creating content such as blog and social media posts
- Experience managing online platforms including social media channels, websites and newsletters
- Skills in content design using appropriate tools like Canva, Figma, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Experience with Online Content Management Systems such as WordPress and Mailchimp is a plus

- Benefits include:
- $50 per month for connectivity allowance (phone and internet)
- $50 per month for WFH office set up allowance
- $40 per month for health and wellness fund

ROLE DETAILS
