The Table of Impact Investment Practitioners, Canada’s community of practice for social finance intermediaries, is searching for a new Executive Director.

TIIP brings together experienced and emerging social finance fund managers to expand all aspects of the social finance marketplace. Our pan-Canadian membership includes community loan funds, worker coops, impact venture, private equity and debt funds, social enterprise funds, values-based financial institutions, Indigenous-led investment firms, and microloan funds spearheaded by and serving racialized, underserved and vulnerable communities.

TIIP’s new Executive Director will lead an exciting organization at a pivotal moment for this growing sector. The successful candidate will support our membership’s focus on peer-to-peer capacity building and mentorship, advocating for a strong policy environment, and collaborating with diverse ecosystem partners across the country in pursuit of shared objectives.

Working closely with the TIIP Board of Directors, and responsive to our members’ vision, the Executive Director will be responsible for delivering the administrative operations and strategic activities of this industry organization.

  • You will develop and implement practical approaches to accomplish TIIP’s mission, leveraging your previous experience as an executive director or senior manager.
  • You will have demonstrated experience in analysing government policy, and in building critical industry sector partnerships.
  • You will have great communication skills in both of Canada’s official languages and be prepared to be the public face of the organization.
  • You will have a strong understanding of corporate governance principals and managerial best practices, including financial management and fundraising for non profits. An understanding of the social finance sector is an asset.

This is a part-time contract position, with the potential to evolve to full time. TIIP’s new Executive Director can be located in any part of Canada. For more information about the Table for Impact Investment Practitioners, visit www.tiip.ca.
