 Full time 37.5 hours per week, evenings and weekends as required

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITES – The essential functions include but are not limited to:

 JOB SUMMARY

The Receptionist will be responsible for greeting participants and community members entering the centre, providing information on NECRC – Citizens’ Bridge programs, directing them to appointments or resource services, both internal and external.

Receptionist obtains and processes preliminary participant intake information. Provides general administration support to all Citizens’ Bridge staff, including but not limited to booking participant appointments, preparation of documents, general correspondences, filing sorting and distributing mail, gathering and recoding of daily intake information and centre related stats tracking.

Maintains Centre’s employment and community resource boards, ensuring all resources remain stocked and organized. Prints and post job ads, public notices, training information, and other community support resource information.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

High school graduate or equivalent < >Knowledge of community resources for people experiencing poverty  Familiarity with North End communities and marginalized communitiesUnderstanding of a trauma informed approached to both participants and staff is always requiredMust be a self-starter who is highly organized, able to prioritize and is highly flexible/adaptiveMust have excellent computer skills, including MS Office, Work, Excel and OutlookStrong understanding of Google Calendar and associated resourcesStrong time management skillsProficient in keyboarding – 35-40 wpmMust be able to diffuse confrontational individuals that may enter the Centre

CASE MANAGEMENT
