Position: 

Manitoba Green Retrofit is a Non-Profit Social Enterprise contractor operating in several sectors within
Winnipeg.  MGR is currently seeking a full-time office manager. The selected candidate will hold a core position within the organization to help see it achieve successful outcomes in its mandate.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in office operations and procedures.
  • Experience coordinating normal business activities and general administration duties; including filing and reception.
  • Experience preparing for AGMS, Board Meetings, and Staff meetings.
  • Experience preparing basic financial statements/ reports.
  • Experience with technology related to office management and basic bookkeeping ie. Excel, Word, emailing programs, QuickBooks, photocopiers, scanners…

Skills:

  • Efficient.
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping such as: invoicing, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of and experience with standard HR practices.
  • Knowledge of website maintenance an asset.
  • Ability and experience working independently and as part of a team
  • Ability adapt to the pace and changes in the non-profit sector, and
  • A care and knowledge of Inner City issues.
