The Canadian Community Economic Development Network (CCEDNet) is seeking a dynamic, organized, and collaborative person to fill the term position of Investment Readiness Program, Partnership Lead. This is a significant project and partnership management position related to CCEDNet’s multifaceted role in the federal government’s Investment Readiness Program (IRP), reporting to CCEDNet’s Regional Networks Director. The successful candidate will fully manage one of CCEDNet’s program objectives – to provide partner convening, connecting, wayfinding, and principles-focused evaluation for the IRP partnership as a network of expertise, grounded in inclusion and equity. The IRP partnership will eventually consist of 20-30 partners either delivering funds to social purpose organizations for investment readiness activities or undertaking a variety of projects to build the ecosystem of support for social innovation and social finance in Canada.
Part of this role includes coordinating the IRP partnership team which includes Waterloo Institute for Social Innovation and Resilience (WISIR), Start-Up Canada, Employment and Social Development Canada officials, an evaluator with principles-based evaluation expertise, and an equity and inclusion specialist. Together they will focus on convening the IRP partners in all-partner meetings; developing a digital platform for partner connection and a public facing information site; receiving and responding to information & referral requests from partners and the public; undertaking a Principles-Based Evaluation of the program; and ensuring action towards equity and diversity is taken throughout the project. The IRP Partnership Lead will also contribute to a related ecosystem mapping project and the overall project funder relationship management.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- IRP Partnership Team convening & coordination
- Hiring and supervising an IRP Partnership Coordinator to support this work, especially focused on meeting logistics and help-desk responses
- Managing the budget related to this IRP project objective
- Coordination of IRP all-partners meetings and activities. This will include liaising with Start-Up Canada on development and engagement with a gated digital partners portal. It may include arrangement of an in-person partners meeting.
- Coordination of public-facing IRP website and ‘help desk’
- Managing CCEDNet’s third-party contracts with WISIR and the Principles-Based Evaluation specialist; liaise with these partners to ensure evaluation and ecosystem mapping projects are integrated into all-partner meetings and activities
- Contributing as required to the related ecosystem mapping project, to be lead by WISIR
- Contributing to CCEDNet’s funder reporting for the IRP project
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience developing partnerships or collaborative projects, using strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrated experience with project management or program coordination is necessary
- Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written, for a variety of media and audiences) is important; marketing or communications experience is an asset
- Comfort and experience with online group and/or meeting facilitation is a definite asset
- Prior knowledge of community economic development, social economy, social innovation, and social finance as well as an understanding of current actors and organizations involved will be helpful
- Alignment with CCEDNet’s values and commitment to gender equity, poverty reduction, reconciliation, anti-racism / anti-oppression, diversity, and inclusion
- Relevant post-secondary education and/or a combination of relevant experience in a related field
- Ability to work in a collaborative, virtual team environment
- Familiarity with G-Suite (Google Apps) is recommended, and familiarity with communications platforms Wordpress, MailChimp, and a variety of social media platforms is an asset
CONDITIONS AND BENEFITS
CCEDNet staff teams offices are located in Victoriaville (Québec), Winnipeg, Toronto and Ottawa, with staff currently working primarily remotely. There would be some benefit for applicants based in Ontario or Quebec given the partners involved in this project. Bilingual candidates are welcome and bilingualism in English and French is an asset. Please note that the interview will be conducted in English and the primary working language of the position will be English.
This is a term position to March 31, 2023, with possibility of extension dependent on program extension. This is a full-time position (37.5 hours / week) starting as soon as possible. The base salary range is $62,218 - $76,258 annually, adjusted for regional cost of living variances, plus extended benefits.
