Senator Art Eggleton has served the citizens in public office for over 37 years. He has been a City of Toronto Councillor, Mayor of Toronto, Member of Parliament representing York Centre and most recently as Senator. Senator Eggleton is co-chair of the recently formed Federal All Party Anti-Poverty Caucus. Senator Eggleton has been a strong advocate for reducing poverty and moving Canada towards a shared prosperity. Learn more about the All Party Anti-Poverty Caucus, income inequality in Canada and how Canadians must focus on a shared prosperity. There will be an opportunity for participant questions and discussion towards the end of the interview.

Join World University Service of Canada for our 2012 International Forum where we will explore the theme “Youth Leading Change – Aspirations to Action”.
 
This year’s theme is: Youth Leading Change – Aspiration to Action. The forum will bring together WUSC’s institutional and student members, alumni and partners as well as members of the international development and policy community. This year’s forum will prioritize the voices of youth in the discussion of global issues.
 
The forum program will be a familiar format as those in years past and will explore the following sub-themes: (1) Turn Up the Volume: Youth Voices for Social Change (2) Show us the Money: Economic Opportunities for Youth (3) Keeping up the Momentum: Everyday Global Citizenship.
