Innoweave has partnered with Advocacy School to host this Introduction to Constructive Engagement webinar.

The webinar will provide an overview of constructive engagement, and will review concepts and approaches associated with constructive engagement. It will also provide an overview of the Innoweave Constructive Engagement workshop, which will be held at different locations across the country this fall. Workshop details can be found here.

This webinar will be led by Sean Moore of Advocacy School. Sean has more than 30 years experience in public-policy and advocacy related to local, provincial/state and federal government affairs in Canada and the United States. Sean is a recipient of the 2013 Bissett Distinguished Alumni Award from Carleton University's School of Public Policy & Administration (SPPA).

Celebrate with the MaRS Centre for Impact Investing the launch of the report of Canada’s National Advisory Board to the Social Impact Investment Taskforce, entitled Mobilizing Private Capital for Public Good: Priorities for Canada.

The Social Impact Investment Taskforce was announced by UK Prime Minister David Cameron at the June 2013 G8 Social Impact Investment Forum in London. The Taskforce aims to catalyze the development of the social impact investment market.

This launch event offers a chance to learn about key insights that have emerged from the Social Impact Investment Taskforce and from Canada’s National Advisory Board, drawing on an international effort that was undertaken last spring to explore the potential for impact investing to address some of society’s most pressing challenges. This will also be an opportunity to network with others engaged in the impact investment, social entrepreneurship and non-profit/charitable sectors.
