It’s time for deeper sector collaboration.
Ontario’s nonprofit sector is a positive force on the frontlines of community challenges and opportunities, providing on-the-ground solutions to improve the lives of Ontarians.
In a time of political and economic change, communities and the people we serve need us now, more than ever.
We can’t be modest about the profound impact nonprofits and charities have on communities, nor the roles we play in tackling important issues across Ontario.
ONN has worked with the sector to create more retirement security for the province’s nonprofit labour force. We have seen inspiring sector advocacy to protect Ontario’s greenbelt and the environment, to create a national housing strategy, and to protect Canadians’ free speech and remove limits on political activities by charities.
We are seeing grassroots organizing and activism on climate change, anti-racism, health, education, labour reforms, and more. How can we connect to these movements and strengthen the collective public policy work we do?
Let’s take this momentum to the next level.
