Recent Policy Activities

Last fall, CCEDNet sent our new Policy Recommendations to all MPs and since then, we have been following up with NDP Leadership candidates to strengthen the presence of community economic development and social enterprise in their proposals.

We have also sent a letter to federal Finance Minister Jim Flaherty supporting the Canadian Cooperative Association’s call for the renewal of the Cooperative Development Initiative.

The federal Department of Finance is currently seeking on-line feedback from Canadians on the upcoming budget, expected March 29.  Have your say!
