Social Enterprise Angels is an exciting event to be featured at the Third Canadian Conference on Social Enterprise, organized by the Social Enterprise Council of Canada (SECC). The Conference, which runs from November 18-20, 2009, in Toronto, Ontario, is expected to draw over 300 social enterprise managers, funders, supporters and policy-makers from across the country. CED Week – National CED Conference Participants to Discuss Solutions for Reducing Poverty

Winnipeg, MANITOBA - During CED Week, declared by the Province of Manitoba earlier this week, The Canadian Community Economic Development (CED) Network is hosting the 2009 National CED Conference at the University of Winnipeg, June 3-5, 2009. The number of attendees is confirmed at 400, and includes representatives of local community organizations and community members, as well as national and international experts on community economic development.

Community Economic Development Week Declared by Province of MB

Winnipeg, MANITOBA - Intergovernmental Affairs Minister Steve Ashton has formally declared this week Community Economic Development Week in Manitoba.
