The Youth Mentorship initiative was a national project created to enhance current programs and services for children and families. The approach sought to strengthen engagement of youth through their voluntary involvement and mentorship with younger members of their communities. This initiative was developed in partnership with four primary partners from diverse communities across the country that were each supported in developing and documenting their Community Economic Development (CED) approaches to youth mentorship.

This is the November 2009 edition of the Canadian Social Economy Hub (CSEHub) E-Bulletin. CSEHub was initiated in 2005 as part of the National Research Program on the Social Economy, and is funded by the Social Science and Humanities Research Council. Our goal through the E-Bulletin is to provide updates on events and projects within the CSEHub and its six regional research nodes across Canada. Social Enterprise Angels is an exciting event to be featured at the Third Canadian Conference on Social Enterprise, organized by the Social Enterprise Council of Canada (SECC).
