This report draws together information from all of the research projects conducted as part of the Manitoba Research Alliance on Community Economic Development in the New Economy. It includes sections on; defining CED and the state of CED in Manitoba, and it identifies urban, rural, Northern and First Nations and Aboriginal communities that could make best use of CED. It also discusses CED opportunities identified through the MRA research, and the policy and government supports needed to realize these CED opportunities. It concludes with other vital supports and strategies. The report also includes a bibliography of selected MRA reports used for this kit.
