Three Key Steps to Public Policy Advocacy

Public Policy Advocacy: Best Practices is a best practice guide that takes readers through three critical steps to effective policy advocacy:
- Research the political and public policy context within which your issue fits
- Prepare your campaign using the information gathered in step one
- Action: develop an action plan to carry out your advocacy campaign
Also included are four principles, which encourage readers to be patient, cultivate partnerships, and be ready embrace opportunities.
