We have a fantastic line up of social enterprises participating in our CED Learning Tour on Tuesday, June 7th from noon until 5pm!

Here's what you'll get to learn about on the tour:

  1. Canada’s largest community food security organization, FoodShare Toronto;
  2. the Raging Spoon, a cafe and catering company that is one of three consumer/survivor businesses operating under the umbrella of the Ontario Council of Alternative Businesses;
  3. Inspirations Studio, an arts-based social enterprise operated by Sistering, a women’s agency serving homeless, marginalized and low-income women in Toronto;
  4. an organic, artisanal bakery, St. John’s Bakery, run by the St. John the Compassionate Mission;
  5. Phoenix Print Shop, Eva's Initiatives' socially and environmentally responsible commercial printer that supports Foundations of Print, an award-winning training program for homeless youth;
  6. and the LOFT Youth Centre for Social Enterprise and Innovation, which provides opportunities for marginalized community youth (16 to 24 years) to develop skills integral to employment and education success while supporting their development as community citizens.

Accommodations during the Ontario CED Event are also filling up quickly.  No more rooms are available at the Holiday Inn Toronto Bloor-Yorkville but there is still space left at the Holiday Inn Toronto Airport-East.  Make sure to book your room today!
