Conference Program

Whether you are an experienced social entrepreneur or just beginning to think about an earned income strategy the four conference sessions will help you refine and develop your strategy. From a non-profit perspective, what are the questions to ask in planning a social enterprise, what are the lessons learned, best practices and greatest mistakes? As an established social enterprise, what fine tuning needs to occur, who do you ask for unique solutions relating to the work you are doing? What is the best way to articulate the impact of your work? All of these aspects will be covered in the one day conference with session leaders who are experts in what they do.

Canadian Cooperative Association International Internships

IP Eligibility Criteria - To be eligible for the international Youth Internship Program, an intern must:

  • Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Be a post-secondary graduate
  • Be out of school
  • Be between the ages of 19-30
  • Be unemployed or underemployed
  • Have not participated in an internship with the Career Focus stream of the Government of Canada's Youth Employment Strategy (YES)
