Community Food Facilitator

Food Matters Manitoba is seeking a permanent full time Community Food Facilitator. The Community Food Facilitator works with Food Matters Manitoba’s programs in Northern Manitoba and Winnipeg.

Survivor’s Hope Crisis Centre is a registered charitable organization working in North Eastern Manitoba to address sexual violence and relationship abuse.  We offer multiple programs in the region: school based workshops, community and service provider workshops, and sexual assault crisis intervention services. 

The PROGRAM FACILITATOR POSITION is an indefinite term position, up to 20 hours per week.  The starting wage is dependent on experience ($16.00 - $18.00 per hour) with term starting late August.

GOAL: As part of the team at Winnipeg Harvest and working in support of and within the agency’s mission, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, the goal of this position is to provide food assistance and community support for those who struggle to feed themselves and their families.
