Events and Engagement Coordinator

The Canadian CED Network is seeking a dynamic, organized, and collaborative person with a strong understanding of community economic development, adult learning, and community engagement to fill the position of Events and Engagement Coordinator in our Manitoba regional office. This position contributes directly to CCEDNet-Manitoba’s sector strengthening activities and is a key staff person ensuring we engage with members and make connections to the broader sector.

Program Facilitator

Survivor’s Hope Crisis Centre is a registered charitable organization working in North Eastern Manitoba to address sexual violence and relationship abuse (www.survivors-hope.ca).  We offer multiple programs in the region: school based workshops, community and service provider educational programming, and sexual assault crisis intervention services. 

The PROGRAM FACILITATOR POSITION is an indefinite term position, up to 20 hours per week.  The starting wage is dependent on experience ($16.00 - $18.00 per hour).

Program Coordinator

Next Up is an intense leadership program for young people committed to social and environmental justice. We currently have programs in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, Winnipeg and Ottawa. The program examines many social change topics combining theory, practice, deep thinking and hard skills.
