Building Belonging Program Coordinator

The Spence Neighbourhood Association is looking for a full-time program coordinator for the Building Belonging program, a program for 6-12 year olds in the Spence Community. Building Belonging is an after school program Monday to Friday 3:30- 6:00pm for 6-12 year olds, which works on building connections between the community and its children. They are looking for an individual who is very organized, motivated and takes initiative.

The North End Community Renewal Corporation is a non-profit organization with a mandate of social, economic and cultural renewal of the North End of Winnipeg, with an annual budget of $4.5 million (plus various capital projects) and 50 staff. The organization is seeking a visionary, skilled and collaborative Executive Director who will be responsible for all aspects of the organization, in a manner that promotes team building, consensus and collaboration with board, staff and stakeholders promoting NE renewal.

Canada’s Fourth-Annual Fair Trade Conference

The Canadian Fair Trade Network (CFTN) and the Manitoba Council for International Cooperation (MCIC) are proud to host Canada’s Fourth-Annual Fair Trade Conference. Building Momentum will be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba from February 18th to 20th, 2016.

The three-day event will bring together delegates from across Canada, to create new partnerships and further the impact of fair trade.

This year’s conference will feature keynote speakers from Guatemala, Tanzania and South Africa, while hosting a variety of sessions on critical and timely issues in fair trade, such as Town, Campus & School, Marketing & Retail, Food Services & Distribution, Climate Change and Trade Policy.

We would like to formerly invite yourself and the CCEDNet community to attend the conference, and contribute to the discussion.

The Institute combines lectures, case studies and group work to explain the concepts of participatory evaluation with a goal to improve evaluation planning and execution.
