The Key to Success in Co-operative Enterprises

A Seminar presentation with MIKEL LEZAMIZ 

This International Seminar celebrates the first year of the Chair in Co-operative Enterprises, and will count with the presence of the Hon Minister of Housing and Community Development Peter Bjornson. Mikel Lezamiz, Director at the Mondragon Cooperative Corporation from Spain, will share the key to success of this business group of about 100 co-operative enterprises,with presence across the world that includes a credit union, a consumer cooperative and has built the ‘University of Mondragon’, 12 technology centers and the ‘Garaia Innovation Park’. He visits Winnipeg as he takes part in The International Summit of Co-operatives organized by the Canadian financial Cooperative Desjardins Group and the International Co-operative Alliance in Quebec.

Asset Building Program Coordinator

Supporting Employment and Economic Development Winnipeg Inc. (SEED) is a Community Economic Development organization. We operate programs to support individuals living on a low income to build their asset base and save for assets or household necessities. The Asset Building Program Coordinator will be responsible for providing support to participants on accessing government entitlements, tax preparation, facilitating Money Management Training, budgeting, monitoring savings, and assisting participants with purchasing their assets.

Spence Neighbourhood Association is looking to fill a full-time Building Belonging program coordinator position. The Spence Neighbourhood Association is looking for a program coordinator for the Building Belonging program, a program for 6-12 year olds in the Spence Community. Building Belonging is an after school program Monday to Friday 3:30- 6:00pm for 6-12 year olds, which works on building connections between the community and its children. We are looking for an individual who is very organized, motivated and takes initiative.

Administrative Payroll Clerk

We are currently looking for an Administrative Payroll Clerk.    The Administrative Payroll Clerk position involves a variety of support functions for the Employment Mentorship Program (EMP) including HR functions such as recruitment, payroll, preparing T4 statements and ROE’s..
 
This is a fulltime position.  The Administrative Payroll Clerk will work Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
