Building Belonging Program Coordinator

The Spence Neighbourhood Association is looking for a program coordinator for the Building Belonging program, a program for 6-12 year olds in the Spence Community. 
 
This is a full-time position (37.5 hours a week). Wage will be determined according to relevant experience (between $14-$15 per hour) 
 
Building Belonging is an after school program Monday to Friday 3:30- 6:00pm for 6-12 year olds, which works on building connections between the community and its children.

WISH Family Fun Day Coordinator Job Description

Responsibilities:

This position is open to one candidate who will report to the Clinic Facilitator, and will execute all aspects of the 2014 WISH Clinic Family Fun Day in August 2014, including:
  • Planning and coordinating logistics such as:
    • A detailed event budget
    • Fundraising and in-kind donation efforts (potentially requiring written grants)
    • Permit applications
    • Entertainment, activity, and cultural bookings
    • Food preparation and service

Rural Training Coordinator

Purpose: In accordance with Volunteer Manitoba’s mission and vision, the Rural Training Coordinator follows the policies and procedures set out for this department, as well as the organization as a whole. Working closely with the Manager of Training, the Rural Training Coordinator will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating online and in‐person workshops outside of Winnipeg. These workshops are intended for individuals working in the not‐for‐profit sector, Board members and community volunteers.
