The West Broadway Snoball Winter Carnival Committee is selecting a Coordinator to oversee the 2010 West Broadway Snoball. The Snoball is a community celebration of winter, where families, children and community members participate in healthy winter activities, good food and magical fun times. It is a family-friendly afternoon event that fosters community pride and togetherness while combating the winter 'blues.'

Volunteer position with an honourarium of $1,800 (Oct. 2010 - Feb. 2011)

Bookkeeper - Food Matters Manitoba

Summary:

Food Matters Manitoba is seeking a part-time Bookkeeper, 6 month term position with opportunity for ongoing contract, 8 hours per week November to December and 16 to 24 hours per week January to April 2011, starting at $16 per hour. The Bookkeeper will assist the Executive Director with the financial activities of the organization.

Program Coordinator - Spence Neighbourhood Association

Summary:

Spence Neighbourhood Association is looking for a program coordinator for Building Belonging, a program for 6-12 year olds in the Spence Community. This is a full-time position (37.5 hours a week).

Building Belonging is an after school program for 6-12 year olds, which works on building connections between the community and its children. We are looking for an individual who is very organized, motivated and takes initiative. This is a co-coordinator position, so team work and communication skills are very important.

Compensation: 
$14 - $15/hr (Commensurate with experience)

The WRENCH is a newly established non-profit organization that has developed out of a partnership between individuals, community groups, and the City of Winnipeg. We envision a city where people of all ages, genders, ethnicities and economic backgrounds are empowered to build, maintain, and use bicycles.

Our mission is to make bicycles and cycling accessible to the public by providing programming, education and resources for community members and organizations while supporting new and existing community bike shops.

Compensation: 
30 hrs/week @ $20/hr
