Odd Jobs Worker

Resource Assistance for Youth is a street-level non-profit agency working with homeless and street-entrenched youth in the West Broadway area. We are seeking an individual who has a passion for working with youth and is encouraging and compassionate. The odd jobs program offers training opportunities and casual employment to youth looking for work experience and a few extra dollars. The successful applicant will be responsible for supervising youth during their job placements and will work in cooperation with the program coordinator.

$14.50 / hr

The Winnipeg Advocacy Conference of­fers educational presentations, work­shops, panel discussions and will provide tangible tools to participants currently working as advocates in the community. The conference aims to provide all par­ticipants with a full day of information, networking and motivation.

Our primary participant focus will be in­dividuals who provide advocacy relating to poverty issues, within frameworks such as EIA, EI, CPP, Residential Tenan­cies Branch and Employment Standards.

Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

The Centre for Indigenous Environmental Resources (CIER) requires a full-time Receptionist/Administrative Assistant responsible for the provision of a broad range of administrative skills to the Centre. A diploma in Office Administration (or related field), plus a minimum of five years of progressively responsible Administrative Experience is required. This position requires day-to-day interaction with senior management, external contacts, and centre employees.
