Community Advocates Conference

The Winnipeg Advocacy Conference offers educational presentations, workshops, panel discussions and will provide tangible tools to participants currently working as advocates in the community. The conference aims to provide all participants with a full day of information, networking and motivation.
Our primary participant focus will be individuals who provide advocacy relating to poverty issues, within frameworks such as EIA, EI, CPP, Residential Tenancies Branch and Employment Standards.

The Centre for Indigenous Environmental Resources (CIER) requires a full-time Receptionist/Administrative Assistant responsible for the provision of a broad range of administrative skills to the Centre. A diploma in Office Administration (or related field), plus a minimum of five years of progressively responsible Administrative Experience is required. This position requires day-to-day interaction with senior management, external contacts, and centre employees.
