Bookkeeping Basics for Non-Profits

Designed especially for those who know little about accounting, this session will introduce you to the basics on setting up an effective bookkeeping system for your non-profit.

What will you learn?

  • become familiar with accounting vocabulary and bookkeeping basics;
  • learn the importance of records, processes and the timely recognition of revenue and expenses;
  • receive an overview of double-entry bookkeeping, the bank reconciliation process and the preparation of financial statements.
