How Can We Work Together?

Task activities refers to the accomplishments, production or results of group activities - solving a problem, completing a report, writing out goals, completing the strategic plan, etc.

Process activities refers to the way in which group members work together - cooperatively, accountably, formally, informally, etc. These are often referred to as "soft skills".

This workshop will explore practical ways to balance Task and Process activities.

About half the population has a preference for dealing with Task issues and often prefers to ignore Process activities. The other half of the population prefers to focus on how people are working together and often tend to ignore Task activities. To be successful, every organization needs to effectively balance Task and Process activities in order to achieve their goals (Tasks) while at the same time keeping the Process meaningful for all participating.

Certificates will be issued to individuals who complete all 4 workshops.

"I must say that I was totally impressed by Ron's knowledge and the way he presented the material. I found his information to be very relevant and he allowed for open discussions. He lived up to this topic of having an Effective, efficient and enjoyable meeting. There was alot of material to cover and we managed to get through all of it effectively, efficiently and, most of all, enjoyably. I highly recommend anyone as a volunteer board member to sit in on these sessions as they are higly valuable tools."
