Due to the global COVID-19 crisis, the Association of Co-operative Educators (ACE) and Co-operatives and Mutuals Canada (CMC) decided to join forces to offer the Co-operation Virtual Instititutes (CVI). CVI will bring together co-operators who will exchange on current hot topics of the co-operative sector.

Gender-Based Violence Counsellor

West Central Women’s Resource Centre (WCWRC) provides services and programming to women and families in the West Central neighborhood of Winnipeg. WCWRC is hiring a Gender-Based Violence Counsellor. Reporting to Settlement Services Coordinator, the GBV Counsellor will work with families who have experienced violence with a focus on newcomer women. They will support clients on their healing journey, through group facilitation and one-to-one counselling.
