The Ontario Co-operative Association (On Co-op) is hosting 30 local co-op roundtables throughout the province. This event is one of five roundtables happening in the Greater Toronto Area.
The roundtables are an opportunity for co-op leaders, staff, volunteers and enthusiasts to meet one another, gain a better awareness of the variety of co-ops in each region, and begin considering how we might best work together for mutual benefit – sharing information, ideas, knowledge, expertise; possibly planning joint projects or programs; and making the co-op alternative more widely known in our region.
The ideas generated at these meetings will help shape the agendas of six regional conferences to be held early in the new year – with one being planned for Toronto.

LIFT is seeking a Director of Development to help raise funds and expand resources, someone passionate about the social sector seeking to use their professional experience to advance the work of Social Purpose Organizations across Canada. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Director of Development is responsible for creating and delivering a strategic corporate and foundation development program, including the development, management, and engagement of LIFT’s Partner Network (GIK/service contributions).
LIFT is seeking a Director of Social Impact to join their Toronto office. This role will be instrumental in supporting the planning, capacity building and scaling of Social Purpose Organizations (SPOs) in LIFT’s portfolio to affect meaningful and measurable impact that drives social change.
