Through United Way, people and organizations from across our community work together for a better Winnipeg.
Sponsored Executives provide direction, strategic advice and support to a portfolio of companies and organizations participating in United Way workplace campaigns. If all requirements are met, you will receive the United Way Leadership Development Program Certificate through a partnership with the University of Manitoba.

Reporting to and working with one of United Way’s Partnership Development Managers, you will:
- Use your exceptional communication, motivation and team building skills to establish and maintain relationships with workplace volunteers
- Create strategies and plans that maximize workplace campaign participation and giving
- Train and support volunteer campaign committees and canvassers
- Equip workplace campaign teams with materials and supplies
- Promote and coordinate agency speakers and tours as part of the workplace campaign
- Deliver presentations to employee groups
- Assist to create financial projections for campaign milestones
- Monitor, evaluate and report campaign progress in your assigned portfolio of accounts
- Submit award requests, letters of thanks and final reports for each account in a timely manner
- Support United Way’s campaign kickoff, report sessions and other campaign related events
- Attend all appropriate campaign and staff events and meetings
- Possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle for the duration of the assignment
- A cell phone and laptop would be considered assets
- Evening, early morning and/or weekend work may be required
