About the program 

The SFU Certificate Program for Community Economic Development is the only training in Western Canada that tackles the nuts and bolts of building a sustainable, local and fair economy. Sustainable economies and resilient communities depend upon collaboration and triple-bottom line thinking; learning is greatly enhanced by the multi-sector cohort experience. We accept only twenty students per year. 

The Canadian CED Network, Coast Capital Savings and the Vancity Community Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2009 Bursary award winners for Simon Fraser University’s Certificate Program for CED Professionals. All of the applicants have our sincere thanks and respect for the work they continue to do relocalizing and democratizing BC’s economies. The 2009 Bursary Award Winners are:

GENUINE PROGRESS SPEAKERS' SERIES 2009

Genuine Progress Index Pacific is pleased to present the third of a five-part Speaker Series to examine value from the GPI perspective. All lectures are located at the Central Branch of the Vancouver Public Library, Vancouver BC. All are free and start at 7 pm.
