Food Matters Manitoba is seeking a Policy Coordinator. The successful applicant will have experience with policy development and processes and be able to engage diverse stakeholders towards developing food security policy solutions. This position would be based out of Winnipeg, at 32 hours per week and pays $18-20 per hour. The Policy Coordinator reports to the Executive Director and works closely with Food Matters Manitoba staff and other partners.

The Community Engagement Coordinator will work alongside the Immigration Partnership Winnipeg (IPW) Coordinator, to facilitate and implement a community-wide strategy for improving the settlement and integration of newcomers in Winnipeg. The Community Engagement Coordinator will facilitate engagement of a diverse stakeholders and community groups in building a welcoming community for immigrants and refugees in Winnipeg.

Under the supervision of the Director of Programming & Operations, the Housing Assistant / Receptionist is a people-person who loves working with others and is committed to IRCOM’s mandate to empower newcomer families to integrate into the wider community. This staff is detail oriented, efficient and resourceful, with strong interpersonal, organizational and administrative skills.
