RS-MEDCOM Group Presents In Association With IRCOM

Raise your voice for social, economic and environmental justice and attend the film screening event to help refugees in Manitoba

In today's world, injustice and power marginalize many of the world's major populations who live in poverty. Despite these challenging contexts, many of those marginalized people are making amazing contributions to environmental justice while working to improve their livelihoods. These films showcase this reality through documentary and storytelling. All proceeds from these screenings are going to help refugee settlement services through IRCOM. Join us to explore these stories of resistance and hope and to support a great cause.

This event will feature the New Documentary "Greenback Green" and the Award Winning Feature Film "Dream Weavers" will be screened

This event is organized by RS-MEDCOM Group in association with IRCOM (The Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization of Manitoba). The Canadian CED Network is the official promotion partner.

There will be some ethnic food stalls with delicious foods and other small businesses at the theater lobby. So please come and enjoy!!

HOMES Assistant Program Coordinator

The West Central Women’s Resource Centre (WCWRC) provides services and programming to women and families in the West Central neighborhood of Winnipeg. WCWRC is seeking to hire a HOMES Assistant Program Coordinator, assisting community women facing housing and economic security issues through a mentorship model.

This position is a one year maternity leave replacement.

Kitchen Manager

The West Central Women’s Resource Centre (WCWRC) provides services and programming to women and families in the West Central neighbourhood of Winnipeg.

WCWRC is seeking a Kitchen Manager who has the ability to create an inclusive kitchen environment, a passion for helping build our community kitchen and desire and experience with using food to create social change. Reporting to the Employment and Education Coordinator, the Kitchen Manager will coordinate of our lunch program, community garden and nutrition programming.
