Overall function: To assist SPCW staff and/or contractors in completing project and program activities. Essentially providing technical, logistical and administrative supports as needed in a fast-paced work environment.

More Than Four Walls Housing First Worker

The West Central Women’s Resource Centre (WCWRC) provides services and programming to women and families in the West Central neighborhood of Winnipeg. WCWRC is seeking to hire a Housing First Worker for our More Than Four Walls Housing First program. The Housing First Worker will assist community women who are chronically or episodically homeless find and maintain permanent housing through a Housing First Intensive Case Management approach.

Executive Director

The Executive Director is responsible for the leadership and management of the organization according to the strategic direction set by the Board of Directors. The ED will work according to principles of community economic development to meet the objectives set out in the Vibrant Portage Community and Social Development Plan. They will be a strong supporter of Portage la Prairie and will collaborate with multiple sectors, stakeholder and citizens to realize the PCRC’s vision of a Vibrant Portage la Prairie Working Together.

Settlement Worker

The Seven Oaks Settlement Worker (SW) provides support to refugee and immigrant newcomers who are settling primarily into the Seven Oaks community. The SW reports directly to the Seven Oaks Adult Learning Centre and Immigrant Services and works cooperatively to support all of their programming goals.
