About the Position:

Spence Neighbourhood Association is looking for a Newcomer Outreach Worker for our Youth Program serving teens 13-18 years old. This is a full time position (37.5 hours a week). Wage will be determined according to relevant experience, between $14-$15/hour.

Organic Planet Co-op has received a small grant from the Cooperative Promotion Board to research and present the history of their store. The successful applicant will research the history of organic retailing at 877 Westminster, going back to the opening of Harvest Collective in 1978, and present their findings in an accessible way appropriate for publishing both on the web and in print.

This is a contract position, which will pay $300 for an estimated 20 hours of work. Finished draft will be expected no later than 29 February 2012.

Assistant Drop-In Coordinator

About the Position

The West Central women’s Resource Centre (WCWRC) provides services and programming to women and families in the West Central neighbourhood of Winnipeg. WCWRC is seeking an Assistant Drop-In Coordinator to help the Drop-in Coordinator create a safe, welcoming atmosphere while also directing visitors to needed resources. This is done using an empowerment and harm reduction philosophy.

Starting: December 12, 2011
Wage: $12-$13/hr 30 hours/week
Term: 1 year contract
