About the Position:

The Manitoba Eco-Network is a registered charitable organization serving as an umbrella for non-profit, non-governmental environmental groups in Manitoba, and welcoming individual and associate memberships. Our mandate is to promote positive environmental action in communities through education, facilitation and celebration.

Manitoba Eco-Network is seeking a dynamic, energetic and environmentally-committed individual to fill the 30 hour per week position of Coordinator. The coordinator’s role is multi-faceted in a busy office situated in the EcoCentre.

Friday Feb. 3: Reel Celebration

7:30 - 10:00 PM at the West End Cultural Centre
Tickets: $20 (doors open at 7:00 PM)

The Reel Celebration is a fund-raising, eco-evening at the WECC, celebrating some inspiring change-makers and in support of Manitoba Eco-Network.

Featuring On the Line, a courageous film by Canadian Filmmaker Frank Wolf about the hotly debated Enbridge Northern Gateway Pipeline. Also featuring a celebration of local change-makers with the Anne Lindsey Protecting Our Earth awards and a reception with food and drink.

Proceeds from the evening go to support Eco-Network's Alice Chambers Memorial Library, offering free loans of environmental resources and helping people research their environmental questions.

Ka Ni Kanichihk Inc. is a nonprofit, community based; Aboriginal led human services organization that provides a range of Aboriginal Identified program and services that focus on wholeness and wellness building on the strengths and resilience of Aboriginal peoples.

Ka Ni Kanichihk has employment opportunities in the Information and Office Administrative Assistant Program, accredited by Red River College.
