The West Central Women’s Resource Centre (WCWRC) provides services and programming to women and families in the West Central neighbourhood of Winnipeg. WCWRC is seeking a Child Care Assistant Mentor to help graduates of an Early Childhood Education course, taught at our centre, with job search skills in the Child Care field (at daycares or starting their own home daycare).
Contract: $1632 (about 48 hours)
Duration: Dec. 12, 2011 - Feb. 29, 2012 (hours to be determined)

Food Matters Manitoba is seeking a dynamic individual to plan and launch a new initiative to engage Manitobans in activities related to health, sustainable and fair food. This initiative which includes a 20 week challenge from May to September, will engage families, schools, farmers, and faith groups to eat close to home, cultivate new food skills, and learn about fair food.
This part time position will be based out of Winnipeg, 20 hours per week, $14/hr, for 31 weeks with the potential for extension based on available funds.
