Dogwood Initiative - Forestry Campaigner

Dogwood Initiative is a Victoria, BC based non-profit organization that helps British Columbians develop common-ground solutions to forestry and energy challenges.

Dogwood Initiative is looking for a Forestry Campaigner to play a key role in our innovative work. This work seeks to address the root causes of problems and to unite historically antagonistic sectors. Working closely with our expanding network of grassroots and First Nations partners, the Forestry Campaigner will coordinate and implement all of Dogwood Initiative‘s forestry campaigns.

Call for Interest for research member of SERNNoCA

The Social Economy Research Network of Northern Canada (SERNNoCa) is currently conducting a search for a new Coordinator for Theme 2 of this research program. The past theme coordinator has recently retired and this has created a vacancy in our research team. This theme will address resource regimes and the social economy in the North. Research under this theme will examine the past, present and potential impact of varying resource extraction regimes on the development of the social economy and the evolution of government programs.
