Summer Program Coordinator

About the Position

The St. Matthew’s Maryland Community Ministry Summer Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting people in the West Central area of inner city Winnipeg to take action towards a better quality of life through building capacity. This will be done through using a community development approach in community gardens, family outings and events.

The job begins June 27th, 2011 and ends September 2nd, 2011. Salary is $12 per hour. The hours of employment are 28-35 hours per week.

Ralph Brown Community Centre

Is seeking a full time Centre Manager. The Centre Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the Ralph Brown Community Centre. Working closely with the volunteer board and local statutory sector and volunteer partners, the manager will work to ensure the Ralph Brown Community Centre is a vibrant. Well managed facility for local residents, tenants, those booking space and other center users.

Program Manager - Multicultural Wellness Program

Position Description:

Under the direction of the Director of Community Services, the incumbent of this position is responsible for the overall management of the Multicultural Wellness Program, including the day-to-day operations of the program and the supervision of staff, volunteers, and students. As a member of the Department Head team the incumbent is required to organize, coordinate, plan, and evaluate the program within the overall goal of Mount Carmel Clinic and in response to the diverse changing and challenging needs of the community.
