CED Week – National CED Conference Participants to Discuss Solutions for Reducing Poverty

Winnipeg, MANITOBA - During CED Week, declared by the Province of Manitoba earlier this week, The Canadian Community Economic Development (CED) Network is hosting the 2009 National CED Conference at the University of Winnipeg, June 3-5, 2009. The number of attendees is confirmed at 400, and includes representatives of local community organizations and community members, as well as national and international experts on community economic development.

Community Economic Development Week Declared by Province of MB

The Canadian CED Network is a values-based non profit organization committed to strengthening the social, economic, and environmental conditions of Canadian communities.  We have several hundred members throughout Canada working at the grass roots in urban, rural, Aboriginal and northern settings, and have offices in Victoria BC, Winnipeg MB, as well as Toronto & Ottawa ON.
